Best Android Apps of June 2021 !!!

 


Apps are an important part of our life nowadays. We have an app for everything. For reminding, entertaining, communicating, searching and storing information, health, and many more. As of 2021, there are more than 2.95 million android apps are available on the Google Playstore. Choosing the right app that suits your needs and taste is difficult and time-consuming.  Here, after trying a bunch of apps for a considerable amount of time  I have handpicked these useful apps which I think are best for you. All the apps given in the list are absolutely free.

1. Mutify [Link]:

Mutify is "A powerful, light-weight & free Spotify Ad silencing app".

Spotify is one of the most popular music streaming platforms. It is my go-to app for listening to the latest music. Its "Top List" and "Daily Mix" are the reason for me using it . But I do not have a premium subscription and because of that, I get lots of ads. I hate these loud and annoyingly long ads in between music. It just breaks the flow. 

Mutify mutes these ads. It does not block them, it just mutes them.  
On opening the app it shows you an option to "Enable Device Broadcast Status". Click the "Open Spotify" option to go to the app and enable this option.

Now press play, previous or next song in Mutify to listen and change songs .whenever it detects an ad it mutes the sound and when the ad is over it change back to the previous volume.

It has a 4.5-star rating on the Play Store so, do check it out.

2.ZigZag [Link]:

ZigZag is a very beautiful live wallpaper app. Colorful gradient lines moving on your screen in a fluid motion. 
Use any round cornered icon pack along with this live wallpaper to make your home screen look even more beautiful.
In its free version It has customization options such as -
  • Gyroscope-after enabling it, go to your home screen and try moving your phone in different directions and you will get a parallax effect.
  • Gyroscope speed- For changing how responsive the parallax effect will be depending upon the phone's movement change the speed. try different speeds to see which one you like the most.  In my opinion default option is good enough.
  • Graphic quality- Higher graphic quality means better looking but more battery consumption. But the consumption is not high so my recommendation would be 90%.
  • Changing the frame rate- Same. A higher frame rate means better animation quality but higher consumption. 55 FPS is a good enough frame rate.
I think the options that you get on the free version are good enough but you can also try the premium version of the app.

3. Spren [Link]:


Some of the notifications in your phone are very important. But all of them are not. Spren is a feature reach notification manager. It stores your notifications offline on your device and reminds you to check them at a specific time every day. It has features like-

  • Reminder – You can set reminders for checking your notifications at a scheduled time every day.

  • Auto Copy OTP- Once you receive any OTP, it will automatically copy it. So, If you have enabled notification manager for your SMS app then do not worry. You won't have to open the app to copy the OTP. It is done automatically. Also, it is more secure because other people cannot see your OTP.

  • Biometric Lock- Nobody can read your notification history except you. In Spren you can enable Biometric Lock to prevent unauthorized access to the app.

Hide Group and Promotional Chat- Message Groups are useful for keeping in touch with your family and friends but those good morning and good night videos are too annoying. Also when other people are chatting,  getting a constant notification is annoying as well. Spren hide those group chat notifications along with promotional chat notifications if you get any in your chatting app.

  • Auto Dismiss- Spren deletes notifications that are stored offline after  7 days automatically. So you do not have to worry about the app storing your notification history.
  • Backup and delete data anytime- You can backup and delete  the notification data anytime you want.
  • Themes- It has five themes to choose from,. These are Default(yellow), Regal purple, royal blue, Misty Green, and Fire Red.

  • Notification Assistant-It summarizes notifications like OTP and transactions. So, you do not have to read long texts to get notified about a transaction. Notification assistant summarizes those transactions.
  • App Groups- You can create app groups for clearing notifications of multiple apps at once.
  • Here is how to enable notification management for apps:
    • Open the app and go to the settings tab (rightmost corner at the bottom)
 

    • Click on "App Rules"
    • There you will see two tabs; "SHOW" and "HIDE"

 
    • Show Tab:  notifications will be visible on the notification bar and inside the app.
    • Hide Tab: notifications will be hidden from the notification bar but will be visible inside the app. 
    • Suppose you want to hide notification for the "Docs" app

    • Slide the slider next to the "Docs" app right and the app will move from the "Hide" tab to the "Show" tab.

There are many apps available on the Play Store for transforming a picture of your face into a Cartoon. But not all of them are up to the mark but I am really satisfied with the output of Voilà.App.

Voilà takes a photo of your face and transforms it using Artificial Intelligence(AI). Previously its AI engine was not as good and fast as it is now. But they updated it recently and it is very good.

 It changes your photo into a -

●       3D Cartoon

●       Renaissance Painting

●       Hand Drawn Caricature

The only downside of this app in my opinion is that it got ads. But hey, the developers need some rewards for such hard work. We are not paying them so we can watch some ads, right? But if you do not want to see the ads they have weekly, monthly and yearly plans. Go check them out.

 5. Android 12 Clock Widgets [Link]:



Android 12 is the latest android OS. Its beta version was announced on Google I/O a couple of days ago. It is not available for everyone yet. But you can use its beautiful widgets using this app with your existing operating system.


I have used lots of widgets in my android and I can definitely say this is one of the most beautiful clock widgets I have ever seen.

Yes, there are free KWGT custom widgets that are very customizable. But the problem with KWGT is that they require more memory. And also not everyone likes to invest time into widget customization. For those people, who want a beautiful android 12 clock widget with minimum effort and that also for free, this is the best option.

With the free version, you will get six widgets.
