Is this the best Android keyboard in 2021?

One of the most used Android apps is your keyboard app. Whether you are searching for something on the internet or chatting with your friends, you always need a keyboard app.

A good keyboard app increases your productivity, your efficiency and saves your time. But it is very hard to choose the best one from the vast collection of apps available on the play store.

I was searching for a good keyboard app for a long time. I tried a lot of apps including –

• Gboard

• Swiftkey

• Chrooma

• Fleksy

• Grammarly

• Minnum

All of them was unique in their own way but I needed something that helps me in chatting by providing correct emojis, stickers and helps me in writing grammatically correct official emails. After trying all of them for a considerable amount of time I chose two of them. I was using a combination of the Gboard and the Grammarly keyboard. It is not that I was not happy with my choices. Changing a keyboard in android is super easy. The Gboard had plenty of features. A clean UI, an accurate predictive glide typing feature (even for non-English languages), an option for copy-pasting multiple items, easy access to GIFs and Stickers, custom shortcuts for long words to name a few, and whenever I needed to send an official mail that needed correct grammar, I switched to Grammarly. But it still felt like something was missing.

One day I was chatting with my friends on WhatsApp and I noticed the emoji prediction system was not very good in Gboard and although the Grammarly keyboard did a good job at predicting it did not support my mother tongue. When I wrote words like “happy birthday” or “wow” or “nice” Gboard didn’t bring the emoji that we generally use, in the emoji prediction section. Google learns from your writing pattern and predicts emojis according to it, which was not good enough for me by the way. Also, even if you turn that option off still it does not predicts the emojis correctly.

So, I started searching for apps that could predict emojis accurately and had other useful features as well e.g. good support for non-English languages. And then I came across the Bobble Indic Keyboard. Do not get confused by the name. It supports a lot of languages alongside Indian ones. Not only it had the emoji prediction system that I was looking for but also some other cool features. Features like glide typing, auto-correction, multiple copy-paste, themes that we expect from a standard keyboard were already present. But the features that make it stand out are the following:

Features:

• POP Text – Create stickers of every word that you type. So, when your friends were using separate apps or browsing through a plethora of options to send a “Happy Birthday” or a simple “Hi” sticker you could send it instantly.

• YouMoji – You can pose, click & send round animated selfie stickers in an instant.

• BigMoji – When you long-press an emoji it sends it as an animated sticker and they are really fun.

• Selfie stickers and gifs – Take a one-time selfie and the keyboard will create unlimited stickers and gifs.

• Real-time sticker suggestions – It suggests stickers as you type words in your chatbox. So, if you write a simple “hello” or a full sentence like “what are you doing tonight?” it will show you a “hello” sticker or a “what are you doing tonight?” sticker on the top left corner. It works for non-English languages as well.

• Easy to access fonts – You can easily select between cool-looking fonts while chatting. You don’t have to browse through multiple options to change the font. It is easy to access.

• My Shortcut – You can store frequently used words e.g. your phone numbers, email addresses in this section to send it quickly.

Alongside these, it also had other unique features as well. But the above ones are my favorite. Let me know what you think of the app in the comment section.
